Trust
MedConcil uses artificial intelligence to help people organize health information, understand medical records and prepare for informed healthcare decisions.
AI is used as decision support, not as a replacement for professional medical judgment.
MedConcil analyzes information supplied by users and generates structured medical information, questions, considerations and decision-support outputs.
MedConcil does not independently prescribe treatment.
Important medical decisions should be reviewed with an appropriate qualified healthcare professional.
AI-generated output should be considered alongside the user’s full medical history, examination, laboratory data, medications and other relevant clinical information.
Where a MedConcil feature provides medical source references, users should be able to inspect the evidence supporting important statements.
The availability of sources depends on the feature and type of analysis.
AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information.
MedConcil designs workflows to reduce these risks, but no AI system guarantees correct output in every case.
Privacy-aware processing
Requested Council analyses use external AI processing, including OpenRouter and the model providers used for the request. Documents, extracted PDF text, filenames and images submitted for analysis can reach these providers. Follow-up questions and previous results can also be sent. Where voice transcription is used, audio is sent to a transcription provider such as Groq.
Automatic identifier detection is limited. It may miss identifiers, is not applied to every attachment or follow-up, and may be unavailable. Identifying information can therefore reach AI providers. Do not treat this process as complete anonymization or legal de-identification. Provider retention and use of submitted data depend on the applicable service configuration and terms; this policy does not promise zero provider retention.
Privacy PolicyPGx information identifies known associations between genetic variants and medication response.
PGx information is one factor in medication decisions and should be evaluated with other clinical information.
MedConcil evaluates AI functionality through testing, review and regression analysis appropriate to each feature.
